Dear Sir,

I am very sorry for the bad account of your health, and shall be very happy to take any share in the engraving that you may think proper.

I have been engaged in some small things which I hope to show you very soon. The difficulty of getting work of any consequence is such that I am glad of any employment which will keep my hand in practice and my family from want.

Your obedient servant, William Blake
